Pearson underwent offseason surgery to clean up his right elbow. He has made a couple of minor league rehab appearances and is set for his third outing on Tuesday. In his most recent appearance on April 29 with Double-A Corpus Christi, he threw 53 pitches, allowing four runs on four hits and three walks while striking out three. He is expected to be activated in mid-May.
