US gas prices increasing despite oil supply

Cheaper gas just got more convenient for shoppers. BJ’s Wholesale Club announced this month that it is extending hours at every warehouse and BJ’s Gas location nationwide.
Clubs and gas stations will now stay open until 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and until 9 p.m. Sundays, the company said in an emailed release.
The gas station offers fuel prices that run an average of 20 cents less per gallon than local gas stations, the company says.

When is BJ’s Wholesale Club open?
BJ’s Wholesale Club warehouses are now open:
- Monday through Saturday: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Sunday: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
BJ’s Gas locations will be open:
- Monday through Saturday: 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Sunday: 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
What is BJ’s Wholesale Club?
Like Costco and Sam’s Club, BJ’s Wholesale Club is a warehouse-sized store that offers fresh foods, produce, full-service deli items, fresh bakery goods, household essentials, home décor, pet supplies, toys, beer, wine and liquor and consumer electronics, often in bulk sizes for more savings. There are also optical services and a tire center.
Membership is required. There are two levels: BJ’s Club is $60 a year, BJ’s Club+ is $120, but it adds cash back in rewards on most purchases, 5 cents per gallon back on BJ’s Gas, and other amenities and offers.
There are currently more than 265 BJ’s Wholesale Club locations in 22 states, according to the company website.
