A man who fell a number of floors within a building in Birmingham has died, police have confirmed.
Venue Henman & Cooper on Colmore Row in the city centre posted on Facebook on Sunday that due to “unforeseen circumstances” it would be closed that evening and apologised.
On Monday, West Midlands Police, which was called to the street at about 18:20 BST on Sunday, said the man in his 40s was taken to hospital, but had since died.
The death was not being treated as suspicious and a report was being prepared for the coroner, the force added.
