Stevie Nicks Makes a Surprise (and Totally Fab) Appearance at the 2026 Met Gala

Be still our wild hearts! Stevie Nicks just made her Met Gala debut.

Naturally, the iconic Fleetwood Mac singer brought her witchy, one-of-a-kind style to the affair. While many attendees played into the exhibition’s theme (”Costume Art”) and dress code (”fashion is art”), Nicks did what she does best, delivering a look full of moody, bohemian glamour.

For her first Met Gala, Nicks opted for custom John Galliano for Zara: namely, a silk taffeta ensemble in midnight blue with a crinoline silhouette and an embroidered overlay skirt covered in tulle and chiffon roses in appliqué. To top it all off, Nicks wore a silk taffeta and velvet jacket and a top hat adorned with a feather, created in collaboration with milliner Stephen Jones.

She also accessorized with dazzling jewels by Tiffany & Co., including diamond earrings, rings, and a whopping statement necklace from the label’s recent Blue Book collection. The crystal opal pendant necklace is set in platinum and yellow gold, and finished with unenhanced crystal opals and diamonds.

At the Met, more is always more—and if anyone can carry off maximalism, it’s a legend like Stevie Nicks.
