Kylie Jenner chose Schiaparelli haute couture by Daniel Roseberry for her 2026 Met Gala look. The effort that went into it is, well, astounding: the French house describes it as a “dropped ball gown” with a brown corset and a duchess satin skirt with 2,000 stitch balls, 10,000 baroque pearls, and 7,000 painted pearlescent fish scales. The embroidery alone took 11,000 hours.
It’s also important to note that one of Roseberry’s designs is in the “Costume Art” exhibit: a leather breastplate from his spring summer 2021 collection.
