Blue Ivy Just Made Her Met Gala Debut at Only 14 Years Old, Breaking an Old Met Gala Rule

The Met Gala has a lot of rules, including but not limited to no photos, follow the dress code, and no guests under 18. But it sure looks like that last one has changed as of tonight because co-chairs Nicole Kidman and Beyoncé each brought their daughters as their plus-ones. Nicole showed up to the 2026 Met Gala with 17-year-old Sunday Rose, while Bey arrived with 14-year-old Blue Ivy.
Blue complemented her mom’s stunning silver look with a beautiful white gown of her own, paired with the coolest sunglasses and silver shoes to match her mom.

There is no one cooler, I fear.
Blue’s grandmother Tina Knowles had previously teased Blue’s Met Gala debut on the Sherri show, saying—when asked about Blue Ivy attending the annual red carpet—“I don’t know. Don’t, Sherri. You’re trying to get me in trouble….I would love to see her go. I don’t know. I don’t know. I hope so.”
