Legendary RB Choudhary Passes Away in a Car Accident

In a shocking update, legendary South Indian film producer RB Choudary died today evening in Udaipur after his car met with an accident.

As per reports, the car he was travelling met with an unfortunate accident in Udaipur just a while ago and killed him on spot. The tragic news has come as a big shock to entire film industry in South India. He is father of popular Tamil actor Jiiva and also considered one of the stalwart producers of South cinema.

After trying his hand in different sectors of business in his early days, Ratanlal Bhagataram Choudary established the Super production banner in 1988. He initially produced some films in Malayalam. Later, he entered Kollywood and partnered with R. Mohan to launch Super Good films banner.

Under Super Good films, RB Choudary producer more than 100 films and delivered numerous iconic blockbusters in Tamil and Telugu languages. The banner worked with several legendary actors in both industries and also introduced many directors who later became successful in their careers.

RB Choudary is survived by four sons. One of his sons, Jithan Ramesh took over the responsibility of the banner in 2010. The banner also distributed a handful of movies in Telugu and Tamil. The banner has the reputation for bringing feel good movies and clean slate family entertainers.

Some of its popular films include Suswagatham, Surya Vamsham, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s God Father, Ishq : Not a love story, Mr. Pellikoduku, Rachcha, Bheemili Kabbadi Jattu, Annavaram and Nava Vasantham.

As soon as the news about his sudden demise came out, condolences started to pour in from all quarters.
