A body has been found in the search for a missing man from Burpham.
A spokesperson for Surrey Police has announced the force has cancelled its appeal to find 36-year-old Christopher, who was marked as missing on Sunday (May 3)
A body has been found in an area of undergrowth close to Burpham Lane. While formal identification is yet to take place, Christopher’s next of kin have been informed.
A spokesperson for Surrey Police said: “Our thoughts remain with them at this difficult time.”
Officers had previously said they were “extremely concerned” about the missing man, with police believing that he left his house at some point between 5am and 8am on Monday morning (May 4).
