Iowa State lands 4-Star PF Donovan Davis

T.J. Otzelberger has landed the second-highest rated recruit in Iowa State history with the commitment of four-star power forward Donovan Davis.
The 6-foot-7, 200 pound forward chose Iowa State over Iowa, Marquette, Nebraska and Wisconsin on Wednesday evening.
According to 247Sports’ composite score, Davis is rated at a .9868 out of 100, making him the 38th ranked player nationally in the Class of 2027. The Kaukauna native is the second-highest rated player in Wisconsin.
As a junior at Freedom High School, Davis posted 21.7 points, 12.0 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 2.3 steals and 0.7 blocks per game while shooting splits of 70.3/38.3/76.9 (FG/3Pt/FT).
Davis joins fellow four-star Josiah Harrington in Otzelberger’s class of 2027 which is now rated No. 1 in the country on May 6.
