Kirklees College have published a statement on the lockdown.
In it, the college said: “Following advice from the police, all Kirklees College centres are now in a precautionary lockdown.
- “If you are currently at one of our centres, please remain where you are. A member of staff will provide further instructions.
- “If you have not yet travelled into College today, please do not make the journey. All centres are closed for the rest of the day.
“We will keep you updated as soon as we have further information.”
