Bryson DeChambeau and Scott O’Neil met with LIV Golf players earlier this week separately following the announcement that the league has received new funding for the 2027 season and beyond.
Despite O’Neil sending a message that LIV has received fresh funding, there is still plenty of uncertainty surrounding the league.
The names of the investors have not been revealed, while the size of their investment has also been kept secret.
Bryson DeChambeau will be out of contract with LIV Golf at the end of this season and, as things stand, it is unclear as to where he will be playing his golf next season.

However, he is still taking a leadership role within the LIV Golf community.
The two-time US Open champion met with the players this week in New York to talk about what the future holds for LIV Golf.

It seems as though Adrian Meronk is just as much in the dark about how the landscape of LIV Golf will look in the future as everyone else is.
Meronk was asked how the players’ meeting with DeChambeau went.
“I would say it was quite positive,“ the man from Poland admitted.

“As I said, we did not get much information from Scott and from the leadership, so it’s hard to make any assumptions but I think the vibe was quite positive and we just have to wait and see next week what are the further steps.“

However, he does not know who the investors are, or how much money they will be pumping into the league.
“We have no idea,“ he admitted.
“We just know there is an investor and then there will be some support for next year, which is what we wanted in the first place. Now we just have to wait and see what kind of next steps will be.“
Adrian Meronk on LIV Golf future
The 33-year-old was asked whether he is more positive now about LIV Golf’s future than he was last week.
“I’m pretty positive,“ Meronk claimed.
“We got a lot of positive feedback from Scott. We will know more, probably, next week.
“I am quite positive. It’s hard to say, as we didn’t get much information, so we will just have to wait and see, but I am just focused on this week and we will worry about it next week.“
The proof will be in the pudding. Will the new investors be armed with the necessary finances required to not only keep LIV Golf afloat, but to enable them to thrive?
Only time will tell.
