Minor Hotels is bringing its luxury Anantara brand to the Caribbean for the first time with the debut of Anantara Turks and Caicos Resort & Residences, a new luxury development slated to open in 2029 on North Caicos.

Wellness and Nature-Inspired Experiences

The new-build resort will feature 78 guestrooms, suites and residences, including beachfront villas available for private ownership. Designed to embrace the slower pace and natural beauty of North Caicos, the project will place a strong emphasis on wellness, sustainability and immersive experiences rooted in the island’s environment.

According to Minor Hotels, the resort’s wellness programming will draw inspiration from the surrounding land and sea, incorporating native plants and botanicals cultivated in on-site gardens into treatments at the Anantara Spa.

One of the more distinctive elements of the project will be its observatory and astronomy-focused programming, taking advantage of the island’s minimal light pollution. Planned experiences include lunar-inspired wellness rituals, stargazing activities, sleep-focused programming and sunrise sessions designed to connect guests more deeply with nature.

Additional resort amenities are expected to include multiple pools, a fitness center, yoga studios, tennis, padel and pickleball courts, a water sports center and several dining venues ranging from beachfront restaurants to a rooftop sunset bar and wine cellar. Culinary programming will also emphasize locally inspired ingredients, herbs and produce sourced from the property’s orchards and gardens.

The resort will be accessible via Providenciales International Airport, followed by a private boat transfer to the property’s marina, while the redevelopment of North Caicos Airport is expected to further enhance private aviation access to the island.
