Celebs Go Dating star Stephen Webb has admitted he would only change one thing about his time on the dating show.
The former Gogglebox star went on a string of unsuccessful dates before finding chemistry with David from Guernsey when he went on the E4 dating show back in 2024. The pair departed the series together, but their romance fizzled out shortly after the series.
Despite not discovering his soulmate on the Channel 4 programme, there’s just one aspect of his journey he regrets. “I regret some of the outfits,” he admitted to Heart Bingo Online. “There was this sort of like schoolboy at the bottom, granddad at the top kind of combo that I didn’t really pull it off. Some of the outfits were a bit dodgy.”

He continued: “I regret those, but I don’t regret going on Celebs Go Dating,” reports OK!.
“It definitely was a learning curve because I’d gone into that, I’d just recently split up with my husband, long-term relationship, marriage, I lost my mum and dad, so I was in a fairly vulnerable state, and I think going part part of that show, meeting new people and getting the advice from Paul [C Brunson] and Anna [Williamson] and Tara [Suwinyattichaiporn], it helped.”
He added: “I think it was all part of that. I look back fondly on it because it involves some of the saddest moments in my life as well that I was dealing with when I went on that show, But we’re through the other end, and no, I don’t regret any of it! I got paid a lot of money for it too!”

Stephen was previously married to his former Gogglebox co-star Daniel Lustig for six years, with their relationship spanning 12 years in total. He turned to Celebs Go Dating after they split in his quest to find romance.
The current series of the dating programme is being broadcast on E4. Taking part in this year’s line-up are rugby legend James Haskell, Married At First Sight’s Lucinda Light, Loose Women panellist Coleen Nolan, Love Island’s Gabby Allen, rapper Professor Green, social media star PK Humble and telly favourite David Potts.
The trusted trio of dating experts Paul C. Brunson, Anna Williamson and Dr. Tara Suwinyattichaiporn are back once more to dish out their candid guidance.
