The DC Defenders try to hold onto their spot at the top of the UFL standings when they take the field on Saturday at home against the Louisville Kings.
Through six weeks of the 2026 UFL season, the DC Defenders (5-1) sit alone atop the standings. After dropping their season opener 16-10 to the St. Louis Battlehawks, they’ve ripped off five wins in a row and are the lone one-loss team left in the league. With four weeks to go in the regular season they’re in the driver’s seat for the top seed in the playoffs. They’ll try to stay on that path on Saturday when they host the Louisville Kings (2-4), in what will be the first of two games in a home-and-home between the teams over the next two weeks.
