UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – A combined 222 year of lacrosse clash in Happy Valley on Saturday afternoon when the eight-seeded Penn State Nittany Lions host No. 12 Army West Point for a first round matchup in the 2026 NCAA Division I Men’s Lacrosse tournament. Faceoff is set for 2:30 p.m. at Panzer Stadium.
PSU, which has now made the last four NCAA tournaments, boasts the longest active record in the Big Ten. PSU earned its place in the postseason by means of the Big Ten’s automatic qualifier after toppling Johns Hopkins, 16-8, in the Big Ten Championship.
The game will be Army’s sixth game against an opponent ranked in the top 20 this season. Saturday will mark PSU’s 10th ranked matchup of the season. Army is 3-2 against ranked foes while PSU sits with a 7-2 record against the group.
