Digvesh Rathi bamboozles Sanju Samson after being hit for a six in CSK vs LSG IPL 2026 clash

Sanju Samson’s innings was cut short against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. The Chennai Super Kings (CSK), who were in tremendous form ahead of the match, were dismissed cheaply against the LSG spinner Digvesh Rathi.

Rathi simply bowled Sanju Samson out, while CSK was at the initial stage of the run rate. Samson, who has already secured a couple of hundreds in IPL 2026, was considered one of the biggest threats to the Lucknow Super Giants.

A swing and a miss moment for Sanju Samson

On the fourth ball of the fourth over of the second innings, Rathi dismantled the stumps of the opener. Sanju Samson went for 28 off 14. CSK lost their first batter for only 45 runs.
