The 28-year-old won the 2026 Truist Championship on Sunday, becoming the second player from Norway to win on the PGA Tour (Viktor Hovland). It came in just his 15th start on the PGA Tour and it’s a biggie as he pockets the $3.6 million first-place prize. He also earns a two-year exemption.

The Norweigan rookie had an easy par on the 17th hole and now just has the tough 18 to conquer for his first PGA Tour victory.

A pair of birdies on Nos. 14-15 have thrust Kristoffer Reitan back in front by one shot over Alex Fitzpatrick and Nicolai Hojgaard.

A pair of short misses on 16 and now 18, the latter for bogey, doom Rickie Fowler, who gets into the clubhouse at 13 under but is one behind Alex Fitzpatrick, Nicolai Hojgaard and Kristoffer Reitan.

The final group is now at 14 under, and Rickie Fowler is on the 18th hole also tied for the lead. Nicolai Hojgaard is a shot behind the trip tied for the lead.

What a start to the back nine for Alex Fitzpatrick. Three birdies in four holes and he’s tied with Fowler at 14 under.

With a birdie on the par-5 15th, Rickie Fowler moves to 14 under and in front of the field at the Truist. His first PGA Tour win came at this tournament in 2012.

The final group has made the turn, and here’s where things stand. Sungjae Im, Nicolai Hojgaard and Kristoffer Reitan are tied at 13 under and leading. Rickie Fowler and Harry Hall are a shot back. There’s a big group two behind, including Ludvig Aberg, Cameron Young and Tommy Fleetwood.

Could Rickie get back in the winner’s circle at the place he had his first win? Fowler birdies the 10th to tie Im at 13 under.

Third different leader so far today with Sungjae Im taking the pole position at 13 under. Rickie Fowler and Tommy Fleetwood are in the group only a shot behind.

Trouble for Alex, who doubles the par-4 third hole and drops to two shots behind Reitan. Sungjae Im is now solo second with Cameron Young and Fitzpatrick two back.

And just like that, the leaderboard is getting more bunched up. Alex Fitzpatrick bogeys the second hole, and he is now tied with Kristoffer Reitan at 13 under. Cameron Young also doubled the second hole to drop to 10 under.

The final group is on to the second hole. Alex Fitzpatrick and Kristoffer Reitan begin with pars.

Here are the storylines you need to know heading into the final round of play at the Truist Championship. Alex Fitzpatrick — who earned his Tour card just two weeks ago by winning the Zurich Classic alongside his brother, Matt — is the leader after 54 holes. But there are several heavy hitters hot on his heels, including reigning Players champion Cameron Young, who’s looking to win back-to-back PGA Tour events after a dominant performance at the Cadillac Championship last week.
