TODAY Show anchor Savannah Guthrie posted a collage reel of her mother for Mother’s Day as the search for her nears 100 days.
On Instagram, Guthrie posted a reel featuring her mother, Nancy Guthrie, with her and her family. While Guthrie herself didn’t speak in the reel, she said, “We miss you with every breath.”
“We will never stop looking for you. We will never be at peace until we find you,” Guthrie’s post read.
An anonymous letter was also posted outside of a makeshift memoria outside of Guthrie’s home, which read:
To the abductor,Your mom would be ashamed if she knew what you did. So before you take her flowers on Mother’s Day, TAKE NANCY HOME or tell the family where she is so they can celebrate on Mother’s Day. Do the right thing, Then you can go home to yoursAnonymous letter outside Nancy Guthrie’s home
>>Timeline: Nancy Guthrie investigation
Nancy Guthrie was last seen on January 31. In the early hours of Feb. 1, her home doorbell camera was disconnected and her pacemaker app showed her device disconnected from her phone shortly after. Investigators later found blood belonging to her on her front porch.
Authorities say they believe Nancy Guthrie was removed from the home against her will. But investigators still have no leading theory about a motive, according to a source. They have not ruled out the possibility more than one person may have been involved, the sheriff said March 6.
Nearly two weeks later, the Federal Bureau of Investigation released images and video obtained from Nancy Guthrie’s doorbell camera that showed a person wearing a mask outside of Guthrie’s home the night she disappeared.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Office said it was unable to find a DNA match of gloves found near her home.
There have been several rewards posted for information that leads to finding her. Local crime stoppers and the FBI each posted rewards of over $100,000 for information, while her family offered a $1 million reward.
