RIYADH: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan has arrived in the United Kingdom on an official visit, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Monday.
During the visit, Prince Faisal is scheduled to meet with the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs Yvette Cooper to discuss Saudi-British relations and regional and international developments.
The visit comes as British Prime Minister Keir Starmer struggles to fight off growing demands to step down after devastating local election results for his Labour Party.
Starmer’s government has struggled to deliver promised economic growth, repair tattered public services and ease the cost of living, and been hamstrung by repeated missteps and policy U-turns on issues including welfare reform.
