One month after Hailee Steinfeld announced that she and her husband, Josh Allen, had welcomed a little girl, we’re getting a slightly obscured first look at the couple’s child — well, her hand. “A day late but simply obsessed with this 💗,” Steinfeld wrote in an Instagram post Monday, chronicling her first Mother’s Day celebration. The carousel featured a photo of a baby hand reaching out of a tiny yellow long-sleeve holding her mom’s finger; a pile of Mother’s Day cards (one, seemingly from the Buffalo Bills quarterback, read “Most Amazing Wife”); a homemade pancake breakfast; a tiny cake dotted with strawberries; and another picture of the baby in a polka-dot onesie with strawberry (?) socks. Allen reshared the post to his Instagram Stories, writing, “My whole world.”
The couple, who got married last year, first announced their pregnancy in Steinfeld’s Substack, Beau Society (a sign of the times, indeed). Last month, they blogged again, this time with the news that their baby girl had arrived. We still don’t have a name, nor have we seen the baby’s face, but judging by her mom and dad, she’s probably going to be up there among the most facially blessed nepo babies.
Congratulations to the happy little family on their first Mother’s Day, and please let us know ASAP if we need to mentally prepare for a child named Beau.
