Top 8 things to know about the Bills 2026 schedule

5 — The Frozen Tundra stretch

The Bills head to Lambeau Field for the first time since 2018, taking on the Green Bay Packers in a “Sunday Night Football” showdown in mid-December. Bills-Packers is in the middle of six consecutive games that could feature wintery, snowy conditions.

Starting with a home matchup against Miami on Nov. 22, the Bills then host the Chiefs, visit the Patriots and Packers, host the Bears and travel to Denver from Weeks 11 to 16.

Five of those games will be played in either primetime or an afternoon national window.

6 — 1 p.m and Primetime draw near-identical split

Buffalo will have seven games at 1 p.m. and six games in primetime. Though it’s not considered a primetime matchup, Bills-Broncos on Christmas is in a standalone window with no other NFL matchup competing against it.

Week 18 for all teams is TBD and NFL flex rules behind Week 5, so the final total of primetime and 1 p.m. tilts could change by the end of the year.

Among the top primetime games to note: Bills-Chiefs is on a network not named CBS for the first time since Oct. 2021. The previous seven meetings aired on CBS but their 2026 bout will air on NBC.

On May 11, the NFL announced that CBS added a national window game to their broadcast deal for a Saturday night Week 15 matchup. That slot has been filled by the Bills hosting the Bears in an AFC-NFC tilt at 8:20 p.m.

Fans who love the 1 p.m. time slot are also rewarded with six of the first 10 games.
