Drake crashes Apple Music and Spotify as “Iceman” refuses to play for millions of fans

The long-awaited ninth studio album by Drake, titled “Iceman“, released on May 15 at midnight. Well, at least it was supposed to for everyone, but Apple Music and Spotify listeners were left in silence as the album refused to stream on the platforms.
Fans were eagerly awaiting that coveted first listen, but the first song on the album, “Make Them Cry“, simply didn’t play. The streaming platforms seemed to quickly figure it out, as the songs became playable about 20 minutes after the scheduled release.

Drake surprise drops two new projects alongside Iceman album on the same day
Stunningly, Drake dropped two other projects alongside Iceman. “Maid of Honour” and “Habibti” are shorter albums, clocking in at runtimes of 45 minutes and 36 minutes, respectively.
It was a shocking rollout for Drake fans, as they were only expecting Iceman to come out at midnight. Listeners will now have two-and-a-half hours of new Drake music to listen through. It’s Christmas in May for Drake fans.
