Golden Knights’ John Tortorella declines to speak with media after Round 2 win

If John Tortorella was pleased with his Vegas Golden Knights’ second-round victory against the Anaheim Ducks, he sure wasn’t telling reporters about it.
The head coach declined to speak with the media after the Golden Knights punched their ticket to the Western Conference Final on Thursday night, per reporters in Anaheim.
The team also did not open the dressing room after the win, with just three players speaking with media — Brett Howden and Mitch Marner at the podium, and one who was brought to a side room.
Jack Eichel, who did not register a point in the 5-1 win, spoke with TNT’s Chris Mason on the ice shortly after the game ended.
Neither the Golden Knights nor Tortorella provided an explanation as to why they ducked reporters.
