Nicholas Pooran now tops the list of players with the most catches in the Indian Premier League for Lucknow Super Giants. The left-handed wicketkeeper-batter from the West Indies, who was retained for Rs 21 crore by LSG ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction, completed Ruturaj Gaikwad’s catch on the fifth ball of the fourth over of the Chennai Super Kings‘ innings to take his tally of catches to 21 in the IPL for LSG.

In the list of players with most catches for LSG, Pooran is followed by Deepak Hooda and Ravi Bishnoi. Hooda, who was associated with LSG in the IPL from 2022 to 2024, completed 20 catches in 38 matches, and Bishnoi took 20 catches in 53 innings of 54 IPL matches for LSG from 2022 to 2025. On the other hand, the ongoing IPL 2026 match between Lucknow Super Giants and Chennai Super Kings in Lucknow is Pooran’s 44th IPL match for the Lucknow-based franchise.

He is followed by Kieron Pollard. Pollard played 189 IPL matches for the Mumbai Indians from 2010 to 2022 and took 103 catches.
