Two controversial goals from Grimsby mean this game is going into extra time for yet more twists and turns.
Daniel Udoh thought he’d sealed it for Salford with a smart volley that made it 3-1 on aggregate but Grimsby fought back with goals that will likely have Ammies boss Karl Robinson very aggrieved in his post-match interviews.
Kieran Green’s header looked to catch Jaze Kabia’s arm as it went into the net, while Kabia’s strike levelled the tie but the striker might have been offside.
