Beyond her screen work, the performer has built an accomplished stage career, featuring in West End and Broadway productions such as Peter Pan, Cats, The Pirates of Penzance, Chicago, and Paddington: The Musical. She also took part in Dancing on Ice in 2006 and 2014.

Bonnie’s former spouse is actor Paul Grunert, who is recognised for his work in Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, Death Defying Acts, and MI-5.
The pair first encountered one another while performing in a musical production in 1987. They tied the knot in Mauritius in 1995 and became parents to their daughter, Bibi, in 2000.
Bonnie and Paul’s marriage hit troubled waters in 2015 when reports emerged of their separation after two decades together. A friend of Bonnie’s told The Sun at the time: “Bonnie split from her husband quite some time ago, and it is very amicable and they remain good friends.
“Bonnie has not disclosed the split publicly as she is an extremely private person who rarely talks about her personal life, and she wants it to remain that way for the sake of their daughter.”
