Rabbi Boruch Bentzion Brikman, a respected chossid and longtime beloved member of the Crown Heights community, passed away on Leil Shabbos Kodesh, 29 Iyar, 5786.
He was 89.
R’ Boruch was known for his kind smile, humility, and sincere care for others. He served for many years as a board member of Oholei Torah and was a devoted member of the Chevra Kadisha. He was instrumental in the growth and development of Empire Shtiebel from its early years.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Chaya Brikman (nee Chaikin); his children: R’ Mendl Brikman – Crown Heights; Mrs. Sara Chana Posner – Crown Heights; and R’ Yosef Brikman – Crown Heights, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his son, R’ Chaim Brikman obm.
The levaya will take place on Sunday, passing by 770 at 12:00 PM. Shiva information will be announced.
