Euphoria fans have dubbed the latest episode of the season “trash.”
The HBO drama recently returned to screens following the lives of Rue (Zendaya), Jules (Hunter Schafer), Cassie (Sydney Sweeney), Maddy (Alexa Demie) and Nate (Jacob Elordi). Episode 6 of Season 3, titled Stand Still And See, sees Cassie posing for risqué bikini shots inside a strip club before taking part in a bizarre photoshoot involving a python while wearing no clothes.
The episode also focuses on Rue’s dangerous criminal activity, all while the DEA secretly monitors her phone. There’s also tension between Rue and Jules, while Maddy finds herself in conflict at the Silver Slipper. It comes as Euphoria fans were convinced Sydney Sweeney was “method acting” as Cassie made a MAGA statement.

The episode ends with Rue surviving a near-fatal incident as she experiences a strange vision linked to redemption and faith, while Cassie receives a disturbing package containing a severed finger tied to Nate.
Fans were quick to dub the show a “disaster” this week as they slammed the show’s writing and plot. One person said on X, “This was the worst episode of the season so far. ofc it had the least amount of maddy screentime.”

Another person chimed in, “This might be the weakest episode of the season so far. Too slow, too much Lexi monologue again, and not enough actual plot moving. Only thing that saved it was Rue’s emotional scenes. We need the chaos back ASAP. Euphoria what happened?”
“Worst episode of the entire season just a bunch of trash,” a third fan of the show penned. A fourth viewer wrote, “weakest cause bar so high. Maddy & Jules = Don’t care.” Nate = repetitive & knew what was in box. Lexi is annoying.”

“Just finished and it felt almost like a filler episode. Wish the backstory was on Bishp (Alamos right hand) instead but i guess they wanted us to know how Alamo became a woman trafficking kingpin,” a fifth angrily said.

“This episode was pure filler slop after all the hype jules slapping rue was the only real moment but the rest felt like they were scared to go full degenerate again hbo knows the naked asmr and chaos is the only reason anybody still watches, without it the show’s dead,” another person fumed.
