Car crashes into Etobicoke fireworks store, driver flees scene: police

Crews are investigating the cause of a four-alarm fire at an Etobicoke fireworks store on Highway 27 and Albion.
Toronto firefighters battled flames and combustible material after a car crashed into an Etobicoke fireworks store overnight.
Crews were called to a commercial plaza near Highway 427 and Albion Road for a 4-alarm fire just before 1 a.m.
Video from the scene showed firefighters battling heavy flames and smoke as fireworks went off around them.
Officials say the fire was knocked down and no injuries were reported.
A vehicle was seen inside the store after the flames were extinguished.
Toronto police told CP24 that the driver of the vehicle fled the scene following the crash.
