HANOVER PARK, Ill. (WLS) — Hanover police closed streets as part of an investigation Monday morning.
Police were investigating an incident in the 6500-block of Church Street.

Church Street from Walnut Avenue, Church Street from Lake Street, Maple Avenue from Barrington Road and Maple at Church were blocked as police investigate.

Neighbors said people are being told to remain in their homes. Every 15 minutes, there was an announcement on a loudspeaker for the person to come out of his house with hands up.
The incident seemed to wrap up around noon.
