Warmer temperatures and sun to welcome bank holiday weekend in BCP

The Met Office has forecast a warmer weekend for Bournemouth, with temperatures expected to rise steadily for a bright and sunny bank holiday weekend.

Today, Monday, May 18, the maximum temperature will be 14°C, with a minimum of 11°C.
Rainy showers are expected to ease in the afternoon, with more rain reaching the southwest later.
Tonight, the Met Office forecasts rain will spread across the region, accompanied by blustery winds, with a minimum temperature of 9°C..
Tuesday, May 19, will see any lingering rain in the east quickly clearing, leaving a blustery day with a mix of sunshine and showers.
The showers will be heavy and possibly thundery, before easing later.
The maximum temperature will be 17°C, with a minimum of 12°C.
Wednesday, May 20, will have a maximum temperature of 18°C and a minimum of 12°C, with further showers likely.
Thursday, May 21, will be drier, brighter and warmer, with a maximum temperature of 19°C and a minimum of 13°C.
Friday, May 22, will be mostly sunny and very warm, with a maximum temperature of 22°C and a minimum of 13°C.
Saturday, May 23, will have see a maximum temperature of 22°C and a minimum of 12°C.
Sunday, May 24, will be the warmest day of the week, with a maximum temperature of 24°C and a minimum of 12°C.
The Met Office says high pressure is expected to bring a good deal of fair, warm weather to the UK during the bank holiday weekend.
It may be cloudier with a chance of some showers across Northern Ireland and Scotland, but even here it will be much warmer than the previous week and there will be plenty of dry weather around too.
