Video shows man firing shotgun through York County home’s front door before teen’s deadly shooting

ROCK HILL, S.C. (WBTV) – Doorbell video appears to show the man accused of killing a teenage girl in York County firing a shotgun through the home’s front door on Saturday.
The earlier shooting, in which no one was hurt, happened during the day on Saturday, May 16, at a home on Mount Gallant Road near the U.S. 21 Bypass in Rock Hill. Investigators said the suspect, 34-year-old Sean Hubbard, later returned in a second incident and allegedly shot and killed 19-year-old Camariya Tidwell.

Police said they were called to the home around 11 p.m. and found Tidwell on the ground with a gunshot wound; she later died from her injuries.

Records show Hubbard was arrested and charged with murder in connection with Tidwell’s death, as well as possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
It was not immediately clear where Hubbard was arrested, what led up to the initial shooting into the home, or what happened before the later shooting that killed Tidwell.

Video shows daytime shooting
Tidwell’s family shared a doorbell video with WBTV on Monday, May 18, that they said shows Hubbard firing a shotgun through the home’s front door. That video can be seen below.
