The Saskatoon Police Service is holding its Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP) on May 20th and 21st.
Check stops will be established at various locations in and around Saskatoon. There will be a special focus on impaired driving, distracted driving, seatbelt use, speeding, unlicensed driving/vehicle registration, and vehicle equipment regulations.
STEP is a multi-agency task force. Officers from across the province will be conducted the check stops and vehicle inspections on Wednesday and Thursday.
