Transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio says Man Utd have their sights on Atalanta’s Ederson and Newcastle United’s Sandro Tonali.
It is reported that Ederson could cost between €40 million and €50m (£34.5m-£43m) and he looks set to leave Atalanta this summer.
Atletico Madrid have also been linked with Ederson but transfer expert Fabrizio Romano adds: “New contacts will take place in the next days for Ederson’s future with Manchester United interested.
“He’s one of the names on the shortlist for midfield, not the only one, and more options being considered. Ederson would be open to joining Man Utd.”
Tonali has been with Newcastle since 2023 but could be on the lookout for UEFA Champions League football next season.
It has been reported that Newcastle could ask for a sum in excess of €90m (£78m) for the Italy international.

Madrid want Rodri but fans divided
Manchester City’s Rodri reportedly ”ticks all the boxes” that Real Madrid are looking for as they seek to strengthen their midfield this summer.
Sport also reports that with his contract expiring in 2027, Rodri is the ”favourite” to bolster the midfield.However, Madrid fans are divided on the signing. That stems from the aftermath of the 2024 Ballon d’Or, which Rodri won ahead of Madrid’s Vinicius Junior.Madrid did not attend the award ceremony in protest at the outcome, and Rodri was filmed singing a chant that appeared to mock Vinicius.It has also been reported by Marca that Rodri is one of Madrid’s preferred midfield options this summer.

Klopp and Haaland on Madrid wishlist
Enrique Riquelme, who could run to be the next Real Madrid president, reportedly wants to bring Jurgen Klopp and Erling Haaland to the club.
There are set to be elections at Madrid, with business person Riquelme among those who could challenge current president Florentino Perez.
According to El Confidencial, Riquelme’s team has already held meetings with Klopp’s entourage about a return to management.
Klopp has been taking a break from the dugout after leaving Liverpool at the end of the 2023/24 season.
It is also reported that Riquelme’s team have been in contact with the agent of Manchester City striker Erling Haaland.
Haaland signed a new contract earlier this year with Man City, running until 2034.

Alisson plans Juventus move
Alisson remains ”convinced” about joining Juventus this summer even if they miss out on qualifying for the UEFA Champions League, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Brazil goalkeeper joined Liverpool in 2018 and is under contract until 2027.
According to Gazzetta, he is keen on joining Juve this summer.
Juve are currently sixth in Serie A, two points behind fourth-placed Roma heading into the final round of matches.
