NatWest and X‑Forces Enterprise launch dedicated Armed Forces Business Community within NatWest Accelerator App

NatWest and X‑Forces Enterprise (XFE) today announce another milestone in their partnership that will see XFE become the exclusive Armed Forces and Defence community partner within the NatWest Accelerator app, creating a dedicated space to support members of the military community in business.
Building on a strong and longstanding relationship spanning over a decade, this additional provision is a testament to the continued collaboration between NatWest and XFE and their shared commitment to supporting the Armed Forces community.
The collaboration will introduce a tailored, secure online community for service leavers, veterans, reservists, spouses and military families, bringing together specialist Armed Forces enterprise support with the scale and resources of NatWest’s UK‑wide entrepreneur ecosystem.
The NatWest Accelerator app is a platform designed to help entrepreneurs connect, learn and grow through peer‑to‑peer support, practical guidance, events, and mentoring.
A major step forward for Armed Forces entrepreneurship
This partnership represents a significant opportunity to strengthen support for the Armed Forces community at every stage of business, from early ideas through to growth and scale.
Through the new community, members will be able to:
- Connect with a trusted peer network of like‑minded Armed Forces entrepreneurs
- Access specialist X‑Forces Enterprise expertise alongside NatWest Accelerator resources
- Engage in events, workshops and mentoring tailored to real business challenges
- Build confidence and capability in areas such as growth, funding readiness and leadership
The initiative brings together XFE’s deep understanding of the Armed Forces ecosystem with NatWest Accelerator’s established model of combining community, funding access, growth support and leadership development.
Combining community and capability
NatWest Accelerator is a UK‑wide entrepreneur community accessible through a digital app and supported by physical hubs across the UK, enabling business owners to connect, collaborate and access support in a flexible way.
By integrating a dedicated Armed Forces community within the platform, the partnership creates a central, ongoing hub for XFE beneficiaries, designed specifically around the needs and experiences of the military community.
Aligned commitment to underserved communities
Both organisations share a commitment to widening access to entrepreneurship and supporting underserved groups.
The launch reflects a joint ambition to:
- Increase visibility and accessibility of enterprise support for the Armed Forces community
- Enable stronger peer‑to‑peer collaboration and shared learning
- Provide a long‑term, sustainable support environment, rather than a time‑limited programme
- Position the Armed Forces community as a vital part of the UK’s entrepreneurial landscape
