Alisson Becker and Alexander Isak are set to be in training ahead of Liverpool’s meeting with Brentford on Sunday.
Alisson has not made an appearance since March due to an injury and Isak was absent at Aston Villa last week because of a minor fitness concern.
Head coach Arne Slot was asked about the pair’s situation at his pre-match press conference on Friday morning.
“Ali will train with us today, so that’s positive,” he replied.
“Alex trains for the first time with us today, parts of what we are going to do.
“So, to a certain extent both positive. That’s actually it.”
