Tracking Memorial Day Rain Impacts

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – The unsettled weather is sticking around through the final week of May- continuing to bring in a low-medium chance for localized flooding.
MEMORIAL DAY: A few spotty showers or drizzle will be with us through midday. During the afternoon and evening, a few scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible. It will not rain everywhere all day, but if you do have outdoor plans, keep a close eye on the radar. Remember, when thunder roars, go indoors. Outside of the rain, it’ll be warm and muggy with highs in the upper 70s to near 80.
TUESDAY: Rinse and repeat. Scattered showers and thunderstorms continue through the day, with still some breaks in the activity. Highs in the low 80s.
MID-LATE WEEK: Unsettled weather continues for the rest of the week with daily rain and storm chances, especially in the afternoon and evening hours. Highs stay locked in the low 80s.
LOOKING AHEAD: Rain chances still appear to be in the forecast, for the time being, with highs in the 70s by the weekend.
