Swiatek enters her second-round clash as a massive favourite on the Paris clay, but the intense afternoon heat could throw an unpredictable element into the day’s early proceedings at Roland-Garros. She faces Czech qualifier Sara Bejlek, who will be aiming to pull off a monumental Grand Slam upset.Earlier on Court Philippe-Chatrier, Elina Svitolina will look to build on her gritty opening-round performance as she meets American youngster Kaylah Quevedo.

The showcase court will then hand over to Djokovic, who faces home hope Valentin Royer in what promises to be a highly charged atmosphere. The day session will be bookended by a fascinating night-session encounter, with Czech talent Tomas Machac taking on world No. 3 Alexander Zverev under the lights.

Around the outer courts, eyes will be on Court Suzanne-Lenglen for a packed schedule featuring Casper Ruud, Alex de Minaur, and Elena Rybakina.

Meanwhile, British interest shifts to Court 13, where Francesca Jones looks to extend her fairytale run. After stunning Beatriz Haddad Maia to claim her first Grand Slam main draw victory, the British No. 4 faces a stern test against the resilient 27th seed Marie Bouzkova.

When does Swiatek play?

The world No. 3 opens the day’s action on Court Philippe-Chatrier, looking to maintain her grip on the Parisian clay surface as she continues her quest for another Grand Slam title.

Swiatek did not have the smoothest warm-up on the dirt ahead of Roland-Garros, but the forecasted high temperatures, and a quicker surface, could heavily favour her heavy, top-spin style.

Her second-round match against Czech qualifier Bejlek – who is fresh off a confident straight-set dismantling of Sloane Stephens in her opener – is scheduled to get underway at 11:00 UK time.

Djokovic comes into the tournament carrying immense pressure, particularly as he is yet to lift a trophy this season.

He will face French home hope Valentin Royer, who will undoubtedly have a vociferous Paris crowd squarely behind him on the main showcase court.

Djokovic can be expected to walk out during the peak of the afternoon heat, likely around 14:30 UK time.
