Packers running back Josh Jacobs charged with domestic abuse

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs was arrested in Wisconsin on Tuesday and is facing five charges related to domestic abuse.
The Hobart-Lawrence Police Department in Hobart, Wis., announced the charges in a press release.
The release says the charges were laid after police attended to a disturbance complaint on Saturday morning.
Jacobs was arrested Tuesday and charged with:
• Battery – Domestic Abuse
• Criminal damage to property – Domestic Abuse
• Disorderly conduct – Domestic Abuse
• Strangulation and suffocation
• Intimidation of a victim
“Josh vehemently denies the allegations and this matter is in the early stages of investigation with important evident that has not yet been made public. We ask for fairness and restraint while the judicial process takes its course,” reads the statement from David Z. Chesnoff, Richard A. Schonfeld and Clarence Duchac.
Jacobs, 27, has spent the last two seasons with the Packers after beginning his career playing five years for the Raiders.
In 2025, he rushed for 929 yards and 13 touchdowns in 15 games.
