Summer House’s Amanda Batula and West Wilson appear to be hightailing it out of New York, and let’s just say their timing is very convenient. On Tuesday morning, gossip site DeuxMoi posted photos of the sort-of situationship in baseball caps and hoodies, towing their luggage at an Italian airport. An anonymous source claimed the pair had been spotted in Rome at a wine bar called Civico 4 “a few hours ago.”
According to TMZ, Wilson is bringing Batula as his plus-one to his cousin’s wedding in Italy — something he alluded to in the most recent episode of his podcast, Show Me Something. “I have a wedding I leave for later today, and I forgot it’s a fucking holiday,” he told co-host Sophie Cunningham. “And all the dry cleaners are closed, and they have all my shirts.”
Certainly, those international save-the-dates went out a while ago, but it’s an awfully good time for the duo at the center of the biggest reality-television drama since Scandoval to flee the country. Summer House’s season-ten reunion is scheduled to drop tonight, and thanks to several audio leaks from the taping and one very combative trailer, we know the general public is likely about to see Batula and Wilson get eviscerated by their friends and castmates over the course of the three-part special.
Can you blame them for wanting to twirl bucatini abroad instead of hiding in their apartments? Let’s just hope for their sake that Bravo isn’t syndicated abroad.
