AEW Dynamite & Collision Preview: May 27, 2026 – MJF’s AEW World Title Celebration, Lights Out Philly Street Fight, Owen Cup Quarterfinal, More

Tonight, AEW Dynamite and Collision are coming to you for a LIVE 3-HOUR SPECIAL at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on TBS and streaming on HBO Max from The Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. AEW Double or Nothing was an unforgettable night, and tonight, we’ll see the fallout!

MJF will celebrate becoming a three-time AEW World Champion in Philadelphia after beating Darby Allin to win the AEW World Title and keep his hair. We’ll also hear from TNT Champion “The Jet” Kevin Knight, who will hopefully explain his shocking attack on Allin in the aftermath of the Double or Nothing main event. 

After Jericho’s team won at Stadium Stampede, he and Ricochet will continue their bitter rivalry tonight, but everyone is barred from ringside.  Kris Statlander put out the challenge after Hikaru Shida’s unprovoked blindside at Double or Nothing, and Shida accepted, so they’ll go one-on-one in a Lights Out Philly Street Fight.

Renee Paquette will interview Kyle Fletcher and Don Callis after The Protostar’s shocking return at Double or Nothing, where he chose the Don Callis Family over his friend, the NEW AEW International Champion, “The Alpha” Konosuke Takeshita. Plus, the Callis Family sends AEW National Champion Mark Davis into the Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament against a familiar foe in “Jungle” Jack Perry.

We have NEW AEW World Tag Team Champions in Adam Copeland and Christian Cage, following their emotional win over FTR at Double or Nothing. Tonight, they’ll share their triumph with the world by offering a special Wednesday Night 5 Second Pose. And much more will be in store in Philadelphia tonight.

MJF Three-Time AEW World Championship Celebration

MJF came through on his promise to win the AEW World Championship for a third time at the age of 30 and saved himself from being shaved bald at Double or Nothing by beating Darby Allin in a wild main event. To the surprise of no one, MJF will be celebrating his achievement tonight in Philadelphia, although the fans in The Liacouras Center may not be willing party guests. How will MJF kick off his third reign as AEW World Champion?

We’ll Hear From TNT Champion “The Jet” Kevin Knight

Knight shocked the world at Double or Nothing. After MJF, the new champ decided to pose over Allin while he was strapped to a stretcher. Knight hit the ring, and MJF retreated. However, Knight’s true colors came out when he delivered a UFO Splash to a defenseless Allin and then flipped the stretcher over! Tonight, we’ll hear from “The Jet” for the first time since his heinous attack on Allin at Double or Nothing.

Everyone Banned From Ringside: Jericho vs. Ricochet

At Double or Nothing, the biggest Stadium Stampede ever turned into an all-out war between all 14 men with unpredictable chaos that made for quite the spectacle. Jericho’s side came out on top, but he still has unfinished business with Ricochet. However, unlike Stadium Stampede, neither man will have any backup tonight, with everyone barred from ringside! 

After pinning Bishop Kaun with a Lionsault at Double or Nothing, can Jericho find even more satisfaction by doing the same to Ricochet, or will Ricochet use the Ricosault to further the disrespect toward Jericho and beat him once again?

Lights Out Philly Street Fight: Kris Statlander vs. Hikaru Shida

The AEW Women’s World Championship 4-Way at Double or Nothing ended with Thekla retaining her title by pinning Statlander, although Statlander appeared to be on her way to regaining the AEW Women’s World Championship until Shida blindsided Statlander with a kendo stick. Statlander didn’t even have to turn around to know Shida was holding the weapon. Statlander wants revenge, so she challenged Shida to a Lights Out Philly Street Fight tonight on Dynamite! 

Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament Quarterfinal: AEW National Champion Mark Davis of the Don Callis Family vs. “Jungle” Jack Perry

The record book tells us that Davis and Perry are 1-1 against each other, but there’s way more to this rivalry than wins and losses. Perry made sure of that at Double or Nothing when he tried to run Davis over with the Jurassic Express during Stadium Stampede! Davis took the AEW National Championship from Perry at Fairway to Hell, and Perry has been looking for a measure of revenge ever since. Tonight, the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament gives him a chance at redemption, as well as a spot in the semifinals. Will it be Perry or Davis who moves on to face Will Ospreay in the final four?

New AEW World Tag Team Champions Adam Copeland & Christian Cage’s Wednesday Night 5-Second Pose

For the benefit of those with flash photography, the new AEW World Tag Team Champions, Adam Copeland and Christian Cage, will provide a special Wednesday Night 5-Second Pose tonight in Philadelphia. They captured the AEW World Tag Team Championship and preserved their career as a team at Double or Nothing by winning the New York Street Fight “I Quit” match over blood rivals FTR, which saw the return of Beth Copeland and Stokely go through a flaming table! Cage and Cope will soak it all in and provide five seconds of championship glory, so get your cameras ready.

Renee Paquette Interviews Kyle Fletcher & Don Callis

“The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher picked family over friendship at Double or Nothing, and tonight, Renee Paquette will try to get some answers from Fletcher and Callis. After “The Alpha” Konosuke Takeshita had just won the AEW International Championship from “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada at Double or Nothing, it looked like Okada and the Callis Family were about to attack Takeshita when Fletcher made his surprise return. Unfortunately for Takeshita, Fletcher wasn’t there to celebrate with his friend and instead lured him into a false sense of friendship so he could unleash an attack on Takeshita to reaffirm his allegiance to the Don Callis Family. We’ll find out what Fletcher has to say for himself tonight in Philadelphia.

Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament Quarterfinal: Brody King vs. Claudio Castagnoli

Much like Jack Perry vs. Mark Davis, King and Castagnoli are 1-1 against each other. In fact, King and Castagnoli have only met in tournament matches, with their previous meetings coming in the 2023 and 2024 Continental Classics. These familiar opponents have another high-stakes, hard-hitting showdown tonight, and the winner will move to the semifinals to face Swerve Strickland. Will it be King or Castagnoli who takes this rubber match and moves forward in the Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament?
