Coronation Street spoilers follow.

1. Daniel’s day goes from bad to worse

Daniel is nervous ahead of his return to work but is heartened to receive a ‘World’s Best Teacher’ mug from Bertie.
At school, Lily taunts Daniel by reading ‘Truthteller2”s latest posts and purposefully bashes into him. Daniel realises his new mug has been smashed and breaks down in tears, while Jake films him.
Later, Daniel attempts to drown his sorrows but is furious when Adam bans Sean from serving him. Daniel storms out and having spotted Megan, he accuses her of ruining his life.
2. Jodie is exposed
ITV
A throwaway remark from Jodie prompts Daniel to realise she’s ‘Truthteller’. Daniel lets rip at Jodie for the harm she’s caused and kicks her out, despite Jodie’s protests that copycat troll ‘Truthteller2’ has nothing to do with her.
Daniel turns to drink in the aftermath and publicly exposes Jodie as his troll in the Rovers.
At the flat, Daniel falls asleep without cooking tea for Bertie. The youngster attempts to make his own dinner, but smoke soon pours from the kitchen and Bertie escapes to the street. Are both Daniel and Bertie in danger?
3. Daniel lashes out
ITV
Daniel wakes up to a call from school informing him that Bertie is absent and he’s horrified to realise his son is nowhere to be found.
Later, Adam and Daniel have an angry exchange about Daniel’s irresponsible parenting. When Adam references Sinead, Daniel sees red.
As he rages at Adam, he accidentally sends Ken staggering.
4. Daniel experiences another setback

Tracy makes it clear to Ken and Adam that they need to do something about Daniel’s spiralling behaviour.
Daniel visits Ken to make amends but is unimpressed when Ken insists Adam and Tracy be part of the discussion. Daniel fumes when Ken suggests he’s heading down the same path as Peter and storms out.
Daniel is horrified when he receives a visit from social services.
5. Todd gets news from Lisa

As the murder investigation continues, Lisa informs Todd that she’s interviewed Danielle.
Meanwhile, Todd is heartbroken when Summer tells him that she’s considering pleading guilty to manslaughter as it feels like her only option.
Later, Todd asks Lisa for his phone back but is shocked by her response.
6. Lisa suspects Summer is innocent

Lisa confides to Carla that her new boss is happy to let Summer take the blame for Theo’s murder instead of considering other options.
There is a potential breakthrough when Todd’s phone is found at a pawn shop and Lisa orders it to be sent to Forensics.
7. Brody is arrested
ITV
Sally and Tim are horrified when Lisa arrives and arrests Brody on suspicion of theft after his fingerprints were found on Todd’s phone.
Brody protests his innocence, but the news leaves Kit concerned that Brody could be in the frame for Theo’s murder.
8. Jodie taunts David
ITV
After David and Shona have another argument, Jodie offers David a supportive ear.
David is shocked when Jodie lies that when he got into bed with her, he said her name and this suggests he must’ve known it was her.
9. Maria gives David advice
ITV
Following her revelation, Jodie continues to tease David by making a veiled dig about him saying her name.
David seeks advice from Maria, who tells him to come clean to Shona about the whole incident. Will David take Maria’s advice?
10. Idris has a proposal for Alya
ITV
Idris tells Alya that he would like her to look after his legal affairs.
Later, Alya insists to Adam that he should have a look at Idris’s files with a view to taking him on as a client.
11. Leanne is suspicious
ITV
Idris continues to flirt with Leanne and suggests that they have another night out. Alya is unimpressed and gives Leanne another warning that she’s playing with fire by dating Idris.
Meanwhile, Leanne is concerned when Dylan references Brody stealing cars for Carl. With Brody now working for Idris, Leanne fears that Idris is up to no good and grills him about the work he’s giving Brody.
12. Tyrone fears the truth will out
ITV
Tyrone is on edge when Carl makes it clear that he knows Tyrone is hiding something and he’s determined to find out what it is.

13. Bethany’s birthday doesn’t go to plan
ITV
Maria reveals that Sarah has forgotten Bethany’s birthday but is taken aback at how forcefully Gary defends Sarah’s mistake.
The family gather to celebrate Bethany’s birthday at the Bistro, but the atmosphere is ruined when Jodie spends the whole evening discussing Theo’s murder.
14. Hope knocks Sam back
ITV
Worried about Hope’s growing relationship with Will, Fiz decides to interfere by rekindling Hope’s friendship with Sam.
Fiz invites Sam over, but Hope refuses to have tea with him and decides to hang out with Will instead. With Sam’s mind playing tricks on him, how will he react?
15. Debbie plans for the future
ITV
Debbie asks Glenda if she’ll take over the dementia choir when it all becomes too much for her to handle.
Glenda is touched and assures Debbie that it would be a privilege.
