‘Love Island USA’ Season 8 is almost here, but the one thing that’s missing is the cast list.
The reality show, hosted by former Bravo star Ariana Maddix, usually releases the cast through social media posts days before the premiere of the season. With Season 8’s premiere being only days away on June 2, fans are expecting the cast announcement to come at any minute.
For those who don’t know much about the show, here is a quick breakdown. Every summer, ‘Love Island USA’ brings a group of single men and women to stay in a shared villa in Fiji in hopes of finding love and taking home the $100 thousand grand prize.
The show airs almost every day, and episodes drop within days of filming, so American viewers often get a hand in how the show plays out by voting for their favorite couples or contestants on the ‘Love Island’ app.

When will the Season 8 ‘Love Island USA’ cast announcement drop?
‘Love Island USA’ typically announces the cast through a series of social media posts in the days leading up to the premiere.
The Season 7 cast was announced last summer on May 29, right before its premiere on June 3. This means we can expect to see an announcement for Season 8 any day now.
Casting for ‘Love Island’ is known for bringing a large group of possible contestants to Fiji, where they have to isolate in hotel rooms and wait to find out if they have been chosen for the season or not. Not everyone who is flown out to Fiji actually makes it to the show. There is one group decided as the original cast, who we will see on the premiere, and then the other cast members usually have to wait in the hotels to see if they will be brought into the villa as a “bombshell.”
Previous ‘Love Island USA’ cast members have said that they didn’t find out they were going to be on the show until right before they were brought to the Villa. Since the casting could change at any minute, depending on what the show’s casting directors and crew decide, the set cast list is kept under wraps until right before the premiere.

‘Love Island USA’ posted a statement to Instagram on Wednesday, reminding fans to stay positive and respectful online during the season. The statement came ahead of the cast announcement, which has yet to be released, and ahead of the premiere date on June 2.
The recent seasons of ‘Love Island USA’ have taken over the internet in both positive and negative ways. After the seasons, many cast members have come forward about their experiences with cyberbullying, so many fans believe this statement was put out in an attempt to prevent online hate and bullying during Season 8.

“The Villa runs on good vibes, and so does this community. We love seeing your reactions, opinions, and debates, but everyone deserves to feel safe and respected.
