Georgia man charged after man shot in stomach in Pigeon Forge, police say

PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (WVLT) – A man has been charged after a shooting in Pigeon Forge, according to the Pigeon Forge Police Department.

Public Information Officer Craig Cruise shared an update Tuesday saying 21-year-old Aiden Long of Ringold, Georgia had been charged with aggravated assault.

Cruise said officers responded to a cabin to find a man shot in the stomach. Cruise did not say specifically where the cabin is located, other than to say it was within the city limits.

The victim, identified as 31-year-old Bradley Vandergriff of Dalton, Georgia, was taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center for treatment, Cruise said.
