The final night of the 2026 Scripps National Spelling Bee is underway at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington. The three-day competition began with nearly 250 spellers and nine students advanced to the finals. Tonight’s winner will take home a slew of prizes, including $50,000, a commemorative medal, the Scripps Cup, as well as $2,500 and a reference library from Merriam-Webster. The finals kicked off at 8 p.m. Eastern and is airing on TV on ION, spellingbee.com and other Scripps-affiliated stations.
