Know Before You Go: Tuscaloosa Regional

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – No. 7 national seed Alabama baseball is prepared to host the NCAA Tuscaloosa Regional beginning Friday, May 29, at Sewell-Thomas Stadium. The following information will assist attending fans with key information regarding rules, regulations and logistics during the first weekend of NCAA Tournament action:

Right Field Terrace

The Right Field Terrace at Sewell-Thomas Stadium is open to all fans during the entirety of the NCAA Tuscaloosa Regional. Fans of all ages are welcome to sit in the Right Field Terrace area for the Tuscaloosa Regional at Sewell-Thomas Stadium. All of those wishing to enter the Right Field Terrace with a cooler and/or dog must enter through Gate 6, located directly behind right field. Fans will be expected to follow the same rules as students during their time in the Terrace. A list of the Right Field Terrace rules can be found here.

Parking

Over the weekend, the 2nd Avenue Lot located behind left field will be reserved, as fans are encouraged to utilize complimentary parking in the Coleman Lot, the Capstone Deck or 4th Avenue Soccer Lot. The Capstone Deck will remain open the entirety of the weekend, free of charge, while a shuttle service will provide fans access to Sewell-Thomas Stadium from the 4th Avenue Soccer Lot on Friday, May 29. On Friday, the shuttle will begin transporting fans from the Soccer Lot to The Joe beginning at 4 p.m. CT. ADA accessible parking will be available west of Coliseum Drive in the Paul W. Bryant Drive Lot.

General Admission Seating

General admission seating during the Tuscaloosa Regional will be located in three separate spaces of Sewell-Thomas Stadium, including the Right Field Terrace, on the concourse in the vicinity Rally Point (third base patio), and in the grass berm on the first base concourse.

Water/Cooling Station

Cooling stations will be made available behind Section DD on the first base concourse as well as Section PP located on the third base concourse.
