GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida’s second game of the Gainesville Regional (Game 4) will now be played at 8 p.m. against Miami on Saturday night.
Game 2 of the Gainesville Regional between No. 2-seed Miami and No. 3-seed Troy did not conclude until 1:53 a.m. on Saturday morning. Per NCAA rules, the next game of the Regional must begin at least 12 hours after the previous contest if it runs past 1 a.m. local time.
No. 3-seed Troy and No. 4-seed Rider open Saturday’s Regional play in an elimination game at 3 p.m. The Gators (40-19) and the Hurricanes (39-18) will follow in the nightcap at 8 p.m.
Florida opened NCAA Tournament action with an 8-7, walk-off win in a thriller against Rider in the opening game of the Gainesville Regional on Friday afternoon. Fans can purchase tickets for Saturday night’s game here. All-Session Regional passes are also available.
