The famed Kardashian clan is getting next-door reality show competition with “Calabasas Confidential.”
The bougie star-haven in the Santa Monica Mountains — the epicenter of the Kardashian reality empire — hosts a new set of camera-ready, aspiring reality superstars, ready to reveal their family’s mansions, their dreams and their scandals in the Netflix reality series (now streaming).
Though the series follows the reunited classmates of Calabasas High School, some of its stars are already semi-famous due to their relatives, including rocker resident and Poison frontman Bret Michaels and rapper Master P.
Here’s the breakdown of the family relations:
Raine Michaels, daughter of rocker Bret Michaels
Fame connection: Model Raine Michaels, the daughter of Bret Michaels and Kristi Lynn Gibson (who broke up in 2012), moved to Calabasas in the eighth grade. To show her Calabasas cred, vegan Michaels, 25, does Pilates daily and eats the kale and white bean salad from Erewon.
Biggest claim to fame: At age 18, Michaels won a coveted spot in the famed Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition for 2019.

Hercy Miller, son of Master P, brother of Lil’ Romeo
Fame connection: Hercy Miller is the son of rapper Master P (real name: Percy Miller) and his former wife Sonya C. (real name: Sonya Miller), who divorced in 2013 after 24 years of marriage. He is one of seven siblings, including brother Romeo Miller, who rose to fame in the early 2000s as the “My Baby” rapper Lil’ Romeo.
Biggest claim to fame: The highly touted guard played college ball at Tennessee State University, University of Louisville and Southern Utah University.

Preston Pippen, son of Bulls legend Scottie Pippen
Fame connection: Preston’s parents are Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen and his reality show star ex-wife, Larsa Pippen (star of “The Real Housewives of Miami” and “The Traitors”). The couple’s divorce was finalized in 2021. Preston, who has multiple half-siblings, is one of the couple’s four children, along with Scottie Jr., Justin, and Sophia.
Biggest claim to fame: Preston played ball at Sierra Canyon High School (Kylie Jenner, Ireland Baldwin and Bronny James are fellow alums). His future claim is being reality show gold, promising Netflix, “I’m always gonna say what everyone else is afraid to.”

Jodie Woods, lookalike sister of model Jordyn Woods
Fame Connection: Jodie Woods, the daughter of brand manager Elizabeth Woods and the late John Woods (a TV sound engineer), is the lookalike younger sister of model, entrepreneur, and social media influencer Jordyn Woods.
There’s a Kardashian connection here since Jordyn had a highly publicized friendship break-up with Kylie Jenner after allegedly getting caught kissing Khloé Kardashian’s then-boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, in 2019.
Biggest claim to fame: Model and beauty influencer Jodie, 24, has starred in campaigns for MAC Cosmetics and launched her streetwear brand, Frvr Unbothered.

Are the Kardashians in ‘Calabasas Confidential’? Sort of.
The Kardashian family doesn’t actually appear in the series, but seem like everyone talks about the family as if they were reality show spirits with their hold on Calabasas.
“I’d say that the Medranos are a Calabasas legacy,” Emma Medrano sniffs in Episode 1, who points out her family moved all the way back in the 1980s (before, like, iPhones). “We were before the Kardashians, and we like to own that.”
Who else is in the ‘Calabasas Confidential’ cast?
In addition to Michaels, Miller, Pippen, Woods, and Medrano, the cast includes Alexie Olivo Epstein, Emilie Nelson, Kimora Nicole, Ben Favaedi, Dylan Wolf, Jemma Durrant, Nicole Sahebi, Sterling Retzlaff and Suede Brooks.
