‘Oye Punjabi London aagye oye’: Diljit Dosanjh announces Wembley Stadium show in September

After days of speculation sparked by his cryptic Instagram tease, Diljit Dosanjh has finally revealed the “big announcement.”
During his Toronto show, the Punjabi superstar announced that the AURA World Tour 2026 will head to the iconic Wembley Stadium in London on September 12.
“We are doing Wembley Stadium, London. Yeah!” Diljit told a roaring crowd, putting an end to rumours of a possible Drake collaboration and replacing them with a milestone many fans say is even bigger.
Why Wembley is a massive moment?
Wembley Stadium is one of the world’s most iconic venues, with a capacity of around 90,000 and a legacy that extends far beyond music. The legendary stage has hosted global icons including Michael Jackson, Prince, Adele, Coldplay and Harry Styles, making it one of the most coveted venues for any artist.
For a South Asian artist, performing at Wembley represents more than just a concert — it’s a cultural milestone and a statement of how far Punjabi and South Asian music has travelled on the global stage.
