The showdown between Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker had been a long time coming. Breakker betrayed Rollins to cover for The Vision founder’s injury, then got injured himself. It happened at Backlash in early May, and Bron picked up the win.
When WWE announced the main event of Raw earlier today, we learned we were getting unexpected rematch on June 1’s Clash in Italy fallout show. When the time came, we first had to sit through a long singalong of Seth’s entrance theme. They stopped long enough for the match to start, then resumed…
Rollins appeared to have things in hand after Pedigree-ing Paul Heyman’s latest next big thing on the Italian announce desk and in the ring, but Breakker kicked out. Breakker’s World Tag title-holding partner Austin Theory got involved with one of their belts, and it seemed this would end like so many Bloodline Vision matches have before.
But despite their recent differences, Montez Ford had Seth’s back. He paid for it though…
And when the Badass got a big running start for his next Spear, the Architect was one step ahead of him. That ended up costing Heyman…
… and with Bron pissed off about cutting his Oracle in half, he didn’t notice that Rollins had the belt Theory tried to use earlier. He positioned so that when Breakker delivered the Spear Seth knew he would, Rick Steiner’s son would hit it head first.
Once he did that, it was 1-2-3 and Rollins has his win back.
He also shared a silent moment with Ford, and commentary talked as if he’s done with The Vision now. But one look at the King of the Ring bracket tells us Rollins and Breakker could meet again in the finals at Night of Champions…
